What never fails to make you laugh?
Submitted by BeautifullyBroken.
Laughter, awkward situations, pain, crying -myself- cause I think I just need to calm down. When people laugh at me or I feel as though I'm particularly humerous. Stupid commercials. Grumpy drivers. My dad.
I laughed whole-heartedly the other day and it was so freeing. I laughed until the tears came and it felt like I was excersing my soul. I love to be happy - you would think everyone does - but some people love to make others miserable or love to be given attention no matter how it happens. I love to laugh.
Oh yea, and this picuture makes me laugh, cause like I posted recently, I'm learning to not take myself too seriously.
What's the biggest disappointment you've suffered?
HA!!!! you have to buy me some really good coffee for that one. And it's not what you think it would be.
If you were to open up a business of your own, what would it be?

Without a doubt a card buisness... but I feel I have already answered this question before... and then I spoke lovingly of my dream buisness. It's a used bookstore with card and gift boutique in the front end.
What is your biggest ecological or environmental concern? What are you doing to make a difference?

That I create so much waste daily - from yogurt cups to coffee cups to occasional water bottles - I create so much waste on a daily basis and it's sad. I have recently started to recycle and I think thats a good thing but also I have started to change my buying habits. I try to buy items that can be recycled and I attempt to use renewable resources. I try to remember to bring my reusable coffee cup and my refillable water bottle with me. I also make certain I have full loads of dishes and clothes before I run loads and I use an eco friendly cleaner when able to. I don't do as much as I could but it's like diets - if you change everything overnight it doesn't stick, but if you make small changes it's more likely to become habit and part of the everyday.
What three things do you regret not learning to do?
1. The PIANO!!!!!! i can do right hand melody but I really wish I knew how to really play the piano... hmmm maybe I need to stalk the gw for a key board?
2. The Guitar - I took a class in college and learned twinkle twinkle but never got past that. I wish I was able to get the concept of it.
3. Spanish - would be really great to speak spanish now in my line of work.
The cool thing is that all of these are things that if I wanted to I could try harder to do...
What change have you made in your life that you're most proud of?

I am incredibly proud of myself for working out and following through. It's baby steps - but I think I'm doing okay. Sunday, weather permitting, I will participate in my first 5k.... Just walking - but someday jogging. So it's kinda cool. I also have given up meat for the time being and have really noticed a difference in how I feel. So I guess the change is the healthy change - I have tried to change my life into a healtier existance and into a longer life. So there. The end.
Do you believe that ignorance is bliss?
without a doubt. I think that not knowing certain issues can become a safe and easy place to be. Knowledge is powerful, but the phrase "I don't know" is safe and secure. For example, people I work with on a daily basis rely in what is unknown to explain away past issues or poor work history. "I don't know" can be an answer about background issues and charges - or "I forgot" but I would much rather hear, "yes, I was 22 and I recieved a drug pocession charge, since then I have completed a drug rehab program and have worked on rebuilding myself and my future." Or why did you leave your last job? "I don't know" is never a good answer - there is always a reason.
It's bliss for the person - but it doesn't get to the root of the issue at hand. I like to learn things that relate to me and I tend to zone out on things that I may not care about - however that doesn't make it any less important - sometimes it makes it even more so. I don't know is this is the right way to answer this question, but it's something that is on my mind today.
If money didn't matter, what job would you most like to have?

I would be an opera singing, card making buisness owner. I would make a living making things simply pretty. I would inspire others to send cards and thoughful gifts. And I would have this amazing shop that would be a gift boutique in the front with a work space by an open window where I would make cards and greet customers, a used cozy book shop in the back - with specality books and cozy armchairs and coffee always going. With occassional book readings and the best book club in the area. I would have a great desk where I would write daily musings posting to my blog and the world of readers that follow me daily for inspiration and perhaps a smile. And an amazing loft type apartment upstairs or at least on the same peice of land with a baby grand I would play with on my day off. That would be my dream job.
What's your favorite thing about springtime?
I am in love with spring this year. The crisp air in the morning the nice porch sitting in the afternoon. Ridding with the windows down and your hair whipping around while you sing to the raido. Sunglasses perched on top of my head while I sit outside and have lunch with a friend. I am enjoying this season more than I have before, because as the world around me has rewoken I feel as though I'm doing the same. I feel fresh and refreshed and with a new start that will only get better as the months progress.
What question do you hate being asked?
I hate being asked what my favorite flavor of ice cream is. - for the record it's popcorn - maggie moo's use to have popcorn flavored ice cream and it tasted just like jelly belly jelly beans popcorn flavor. it was delish. sadly I don't think they make it any longer - but that's okay I don't need it.
Honestly I hate it when people ask me if I have considered weight loss surgery... among other questions that are none of their business. I Know who I am and I don't think that has to be defined by my size or over abundance of it. Now I am working towards the goal of being healthy and if that includes a smaller size that would be great. but for the record No I'm not going to have surgery, yes I'm certain your second cousin twice removed has a wonderful life and has a great time running and everything. But I know it's not for me at this point in my life. Further more I don't ask you if you have thought about plastic surgery to get rid of those lines on your forehead... and I won't. It's none of my business.
