How do you feel about your birthday?  Do you look forward to it and remind all your friends, or do you dread it and try to keep it a secret?

I consider my birthday a national holiday. I remind everyone and I tend to celebrate the whole month. seriously it's my favorite.... and it makes me sad when others don't get to enjoy their birthdays like I tend to. Plus since I am a twin it is also a day that reminds me I am never alone. Kinda extra special.

Who is ringing in the New Year with you?  Who do you wish could be with you, but isn't there?

I get to ring in the new year with my husband. It's also our anniversary which makes it incredibly nicer. Right now we have had a full night. We had dinner with my father and little sister and hung out with them for a bit. And now we are waiting for the new year and enjoying being together.

What's on your holiday wishlist?

Paid Bills!!!!!!!! haha. 

What is your daily commute like?  What is the weirdest thing you've seen on that commute?

I have blogged about my commute before. But for the most part it isn't too bad. I enjoy the time I usually get to spend alone and contemplating the larger meaning of life. I spend about 30 min. each  way. not nearly as bad as the hour i use to keep.

The oddest thing i ever see are what people try to get away with doing in their vehicals. Eating, makeup, hair and phones... the only people who I have seen almost cause wrecks are the one's who number one priority isn't driving... drives me ever lovin nuts.

This was a really hard one! but it had been a bit since I last wrote...

1. I LOVE my job, like insanely love it, from the paperwork to the crazy people it makes me happy and I feel like I am contributing to the world.

2. I can fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow at night.

3. I am a dorky scrap booker and I'm okay with that.

4. I make dresses with pants look cool.... LOL

5. I (according to Dom) have never ending optimism and faith in people

What are some ways you save money?

We eat at home and only go out to eat once a week. But, now that we have been eating at home more and more it's harder to spend our money on food that we can make for a fraction of the cost at home with better service. haha.
We need to do more things to save money, but that is one of the major ones. I can see a big difference in our budget when we follow that rule.

If you could get everyone in the world to change their behavior in one way, what would you have them do differently?

I know it's very mickey mouse of me. But if everyone would change their behaviour I would have them capable of hearing and listening to others not like them. I would have everyone listen with the purpose of hearing the other side... including myself. Especially when it is a view I do not share.

What are some things that are worth (and not worth) spending money on?

Good Shoes are always worth the price to me. I have broken both my ankles and good solid shoes are something I have no qualms about spending money on. Dominic - I never mind spending money on him, he is so good to me and while I know money doesn't equal love I do like to see him getting things he wants.
I also have no problem spending money on quality products like make up or the eventual laptop of my own I will have. I like things to last.

Not worth it? Drinking and eating out. We have really cut back on that and now when we do eat out I know that we could get just as good a meal for half the price. also Drinks - alcohol variety are never worth it. They are always like 3 times the price you would pay at home.
