The seventh season of "American Idol" premieres tonight.  Will you be watching, or are you over it?

Nope, I figure why start now. Also I can't devote my whole week of tv time to one show. Now, I do keep up with the pop culture refrences but usually The Soup gives me all I need there.

What do you do for fun when you're broke?

Dominic and I are good at being broke together. We enjoy playing games and just having cheap nights in. We use to have panera Sundays, we would go to Panera and split a bagel for under $1 and read a free paper all morning and drink unlimited coffee. it would cost us under $5 for the entire time.

What was the best movie you saw this year?

There have been some great films on 2007 and i guess i would have to revisit them to do this question justice. However, my newest recomendation is a particular new favorite. "Sweeney Todd the Demon Barber of Fleet Street" wow is all I can say. It was gory and not pretty but I loved it. It was still a Sondheim musical and it showed that but it also translated well to a Burton film which was an odd but workable marriage. Johnny Depp is always a favorite of mine but his immersion of himself into this part was incredible and Helen Bohnam Carter - while I always am intrigued by her I found her very likeable and belived her messed up realness. The music was great and even my husband wanted to see it. It was his choice for a Christmas Night Movie a tradition that has been in my family for years. So that was one of the new tops but there have been lots.

I love words, they define me and fill me with hope... sometimes dread, but they are one of my biggest loves. I will have to hopefully come back to this one some day with a better answer... but I think my answer will always change.

Film & TV writers are on strike, which means everything except reality TV could halt production.  Do you support the strike?  Are any of your favorite shows in jeopardy?

I definetly support it. I think they deserve the pay for the work. I wish there were other methods instead of strikes, however I understand the need and the importance.

What movie did you expect would be terrible, but was actually really good?

Zoolander! I LOVE that blue steel look. although, I am really a bad one to answer that question, I really enjoy b movies. Sunday is not a day of rest unless it includes at least one sci-fi movie and some cheesy good fun. 

What's the best late-night TV talk show?

The last time I was able to really watch late night tv it was the Craig Ferguson show. I loved that show. But I think, not only was it a fun show to watch it was the company that made it great. Dom and I had just moved in together and he was working a 2n shift job. He would come home and we would have dinner and watch that show and laugh and probably piss off the neighbors. It was a good time. 

Drew Carey recently replaced Bob Barker as the host of "The Price Is Right".  What game show would you like to host?

I hate game shows... I think it all goes back to my little sister watching them ALL the FREAKIN time. lol but if I had to host a game show it would probably be some hokey old school show like "lets make a deal"

or I would host the Broadway "You're the one that I want" but chose a different show and I would be able to say exactly what I thought of the contestants.... mean perhaps, but truthful.
